Top 10 Cities To Find A Job In Canada

Every immigrant that is planning to move to Canada should recognize the cities where they can find employment opportunities without any hassle. Moncton, New Brunswick tops the quarterly BMO Regional Labour Market Report Card.

It should be noted that the city has been moving rapidly since last year. The rate of employment in Moncton has increased up to 10 percent in the last 12 months. This new development is a major achievement for the Atlantic provinces.

The main factor that the Bank of Montreal (BMO) considered when ranking these cities was their level of employment growth.

  • Moncton, New Brunswick
  • Abbotsford, British Columbia
  • Oshawa, Ontario
  • Vancouver, British Columbia
  • Kelowna, British Columbia
  • Toronto, Ontario
  • Quebec City, Quebec
  • Saskatoon, Saskatchewan
  • Edmonton, Alberta
  • Halifax, Nova Scotia

Vancouver and Toronto which are among the major Canadian cities claimed the 4th and 6th positions respectively. Out of the 10 provinces in Canada, six has experienced around 3% employment growth.

However, Labrador and Newfoundland don’t appear to have any significant changes. Although Alberta’s employment rate was static last year, it has improved to 1.8% this year.

According to a report from the BMO, Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec are also progressing. Nevertheless, the statistics are not that impressive when compared to the one from the past two years.

It’s advisable to live in any of the cities listed above if you’re about to relocate to Canada especially for work. This will double your chances of securing a better paying job that will help you to improve your standard of living.
